I'm getting a Kubota L3010 HST, LA481 loader with 60" bucket, R4 tires and Folding ROPS for 18,100. Is this good, bad, or average? Thanks in advance

Kevin, before you buy one make sure it will pull good in high range. I test drove two at different lots and both were dogs in high range. One driveway had a slight incline and it really sucked the rpm down to 1500rpm quickly. The 2710 and 3710 I drove would not do this as a comparison. Seems like the hst and weight combo bogs it down to a certain degree and is'nt effected on the 3710 and 2710 as much. I would like to know if anyone else noticed this on the 3010hst??. Maybe it was all in my head but it should pull 2600rpm on level ground but won't. ....

For one comparison, I just purchased the same configuration(Kubota L3010 HST, LA481 loader with 60" bucket, R4 tires and Folding ROPS), plus I upgraded tothe heavy duty bucket on the loader. Price before taxes was $17,700. BTW. I had no problem with pulling 2600rpm's in high range. ....

I recently purchased an L-3010, HST, LA-481 loader, ag tires, fixed ROPS and a SQ-72" bush hog for $18,000 pre tax. I might have been able to save a few bucks at aonother dealer but liked this dealership more.I have tried the 2600 RPM in high gear and have not had any trouble....in fact I abslutely love my tractor and would not have gotten anything different. Good luck, Doug ....

Wayne - I purchased the same setup in central illinois with loader, landpride 72" rear discharge mower and a 58" landpride tiller for $20,362 out the door. I also fought like the devil to get that price. Concerning another issue, my tractor lugged severely in high range at full throttle. After about 17-20 hours of use, this problem disappeared. I could not be happier with this setup. My only complaint is that there is no insulated can holder for your favorite "mowing" beverage.Life is good! ....
